New York City is by far the best city in the world! Every time I travel I choose to go here. A few things I love to do in New York include going to Times Square, Ground Zero, Central Park and Rockefeller Center. Dining in Times Square is always fun. I really like eating at Mars 2112. I went there the first time for my High School Chorus trip and the second time with my family several years later. It has a great atmosphere and is very unique; almost like you are on a different planet! When I am in the Times Square area I always visit the New Victory Theater. I like to sit up there and watch the traffic and people go by. You can also check out what is on Broadway at the time by just looking around at the advertisements. My friend and I take a lot of silly pictures of ourselves when we are up there. We also like to go to the Swing 46 Jazz and Supper Club to listen to our favorite band, Double Down. I always make it a priority to visit Ground Zero. It’s so peaceful there and there’s always new development going on. While I’m down there I usually visit Wall Street and stop in at the Starbucks. Another favorite place to get drinks is at Pret A Manger. They have the best hot chocolate! It’s fun to go to Rockefeller Center and grab one at the location they have there. There’s also a great little gift shop called “Pants and !” that I always make sure to stop into and browse around. Then we usually like to cross the street and check out what’s going on at The Today Show. Sometimes you can get on TV if you are there at the right time! Finally, I always go to Central Park to walk around, take pictures and, of course, watch the ice skaters.
