Rainy Streets of NYC

It was raining during my first trip to NYC, but even under all the fog and gloomy appearances, the brilliant lights at Times Square were still mesmerizing. My friend and I stopped by a cute NYC cafe, which sold cheesecakes and a variety of drinks. I tried the pink lemonade, which was freshly made, and enjoyed a slice of delicious strawberry cheesecake. I’d never had lemonade like that before—delicious! It was like a real lemon: the perfect blend of sweetness and tangy citrus. Next, we visited the Sephora shop nearby, the store filled with aromas. Unfortunately, it was getting really crowded at night and we just had to step out. People seemed to file in, trying  on all the different makeup. There were actually using the free testers to their hearts content, no doubt getting ready for an evening in New York!

The rain continued to pour the throughout the night, but I was still dazzled by dreamy lights and the fog. The streets were endlessly crowded as we moved along. At one point I looked at the parking lots and thought, “Wow, these are so small.” Everything was entrancing, and I took in every detail.
