NYC- Halloween and Rocky Horror

I live in Wisconsin and five years ago I decided to visit a high school friend who was currently living in New York City. I had never been there before and was very excited. As I was going over Halloween we wanted to make special plans. Of course we had to go in costume. I wanted to represent my home state so I went as a cheerleader for the Green Bay Packers. I wore a fun costume with a short skirt and carried pom poms with me- I even put my hair up in pigtails with ribbons!

Throughout the night many people asked to have their pictures taken with me. We started out the night by going to a trendy restaurant that had changed the menu to reflect the holiday and was serving Halloween themed food. After this we went to a haunted house in an abandoned warehouse in Chelsea. We stopped to drink at a few bars and met some people who invited us to come with them to a midnight showing of the Rocky Horror Picture show. After the performance the cast taught everyone how to dance the Time Warp. After this we just walked around the city laughing at everyone who was in costumes and talking to different people. We didn’t get home until dawn. It’s my favorite Halloween memory!
